Waves photo project is a series of seven square photographs that are paired with a poem about the inner child. The poem; Corduroy, was written at a time where I began to realize I was slipping out of childhood. The photos of the waves were taken on the Atlantic Ocean during a cruise where I unfortunately became sick. The idea of seasickness accompanying a weariness in letting go of the past inspired the connection of the text and images into one project.
